  • Received a grant to support the creation of the project, Thalaimuraigal: Three Generations of Kolam, held at the Gandhi Memorial Center in November 2022 - January 2023.

 

Maryland Traditions Folklife Apprenticeship Award | Maryland State Arts Council | July 2022

  • Received a grant to spend a year continue learning Kolam, a traditional South Indian art form, from Shanthi Chandrasekar, with a specific focus on researching the historical context and training to be able to teach the art form.
